Running from Tuen Mun to Fanling

18 August 2021

In the late afternoon of 12 August, Fr Nicolas de Francqueville of Missions étrangères de Paris (MEP) started his 4-hour long run from the Holy Redeemer Church in Tuen Mun to St Joseph’s Church in Fanling with one single purpose, that was to raise faithful’s awareness of the needs of the Diocese as she calls for donations to support its church building and development initiatives.

The journey spanned over 30 kms, passing through Hung Shiu Kiu, Yuen Long and Kam Tin, overlooking Shenzhen in a distance and accompanied by sister moon. At around 9:00 in the evening, Fr Nicolas reached St Joseph’s Church.

Fr Nicolas was grateful that he could exercise while supporting the Church at the same time.
