On Jan 6 2024, St Joseph's Church new wing was unfolding her spectacular design for "The Seven Sorrows and Joys of St Joseph" to thousands of faithful and pilgrims. The contemporary design delights people and raises their spirit in the admiration of God's wisdom and grace. Amazingly the new building has connected the faithful across different parishes, bringing us a New Home among homes.
The whole development project still has more to finish. It will cost HK$350 million to complete and up till now around HK$140 million of funds have been acquired through various donation campaigns during the past years. Though we have succeeded in letting you first enjoy the service of the new wing, we are striving to gather funds to complete the works, to bring you and the Diocese in its fullest, a transcending architecture which can turn stone into tears, aesthetics into spiritual revelation and divinity.
Now here is the chance for you to join us complete the building of the New Home. With a one-off donation of not less than HK$30,000, a plaque bearing your name will be affixed to the pew of the new church. Indeed we will feel grateful if you prefer to sponsor more.
