Follow the shepherd's literary and artistic experience to nourish our body, mind, and soul

"Thy Kingdom Come" received overwhelming support in 2020, and the participation this year from the pastoral brothers and sisters is more active. There are altogether 11 participants showcasing an array of 61 masterpieces including Chinese paintings and calligraphy, wood carvings, holy icon paintings, oil paintings, and pyrography, fully demonstrating the different talents that God has bestowed on them. Each of their works contains profound life experience and is the fruit of faith and spiritual practice showing affluent philosophy and self-attainment. God has driven them to be creators, and invites us to be the beneficiaries, nourishing our physical, and spiritual development from each piece of art.

Owing to the severity of Covid during the previous exercise, the exhibits, though being displayed in the Cathedral, could only be allowed for virtual viewing. Now faithful can participate in mass inside the Cathedral enveloped with an aesthetically pleasing atmosphere, tour the viewing in an orderly manner and proceed to bid online for their favourite art piece raising funds for the Diocese church building and development.

Bishop Stephen Chow. will be hosting the opening ceremony for "Thy Kingdom Come 2.0" in the Cathedral on December 17 afternoon, signally the commencement of the Exhibition and the Online Charity Bidding.

The Online Charity Bidding commences from Dec 17, 2022, at 3:00 pm to Jan 31, 2023, at 5:00 pm. (The bidding for Couplet No. 9FF1, 10FF2, 11FF3 and 12FF4 will remain at 5pm on Jan 7, 2023.  Successful bidders will be notified individually in due course.)

"There are different kinds of spiritual gifts but the same Spirit; ….there are different workings but the same God who produces all of them in everyone." (1 Corinthians 12:4,6).

Let us respond to the grace of God. Give what you can, support the church building and development needs of the Diocese; bring your favorite works with you, and let the benevolent heavenly father do everything in us.
